By signing up for the Fables subscription, you will receive a monthly episode of the current season’s Fables containing 2 – 4 Chapters of story narrative, NPCs, monster and encounters. You will also get full-color VTT ready digital maps relevant to the current Fable, in gridded/non-gridded format, and character, NPC, and monster digital Tokens relevant to the current Fable.
To start playing Fables, you need to set up your world and character by following the game creation flow, which includes picking or creating a world and picking or creating a character. You can then talk to Franz like you would a human DM and use the /roll command for various in-game actions.
To create a game in Fables, you can click "Create New Game" in the designated channel and follow the game creation flow, which provides pre-made worlds & characters to choose from, allowing you to get started in 30 seconds or less. If you want to spend more time customizing your campaign, you can do that as well.
